Daniel Tackling
Daniel Tackling is a Management Consultant for the Summit Companies and comes with rich experience in healthcare, and formerly the public utilities industry. He has held multiple positions as an analyst, leader, and consultant over the last decade. Daniel has managed several strategic projects for a large health system and has healthcare operations experience in multi-site private practice for medical and dental offices. Additionally, in 2018, Daniel was designated as one of the few Master Examiners for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence (TNCPE) which is a non-profit economic development firm helping organization’s in all business sectors align their people, processes, and plans using the nationally recognized Baldrige Excellence Framework.
Daniel obtained his undergraduate degree in Management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master’s of Business Administration from East Tennessee State University. He is a frequent speaker at East Tennessee State University’s College of Public Health speaking on a variety of topics ranging from Healthcare Strategy, Quality Assurance, Data Analytics, and Leadership.
Eric Fields
Eric has a B.A. in Business and Economics from King College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with concentrations in Accounting, Economics and Finance, and International Business and earned his Master’s Degree with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. In addition to being a licensed Certified Public Accountant, Eric has also received his Charter Global Management Accountant, Senior Professional of Human Resources, Certified Risk Manager, Certified Insurance Counselor, Contractor’s Risk and Insurance Specialist, Chartered Work Comp Executive, Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding, Accredited Advisor in Insurance, and Certified Quickbooks Advisor designations.

Anita Fields
Anita Fields is an Accounting Consultant for Summit who brings several years of Cost and General Accounting experience to the company.
After earning a BA in Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from King College, Anita spent 10 years as an Accountant for local manufacturers working as a Financial Analyst, Accounts Payable Manager, and Cost Accounting Manager. This background has been valuable to clients as she assists with their system configuration, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
Anita also serves as the volunteer Administrator of the 501(c)3 Haitian Support Alliance and travels with her husband, Eric, annually to visit churches, schools, and entrepreneurship programs that are supported by the organization. Anita is a member of Grace Bible Church which meets in Kingsport, TN and also helps with the Faith Community Fellowship Joy Club, a local ministry that works with children and youth of the Bristol area.
Scott Emerine
Scott Emerine, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Science degree in Health Communications from Boston University. Emerine was part of the first class of graduates from Boston University with a highly specialized degree for health care communications and marketing. He has worked on numerous health care campaigns including the launch of new clinics, cancer centers, and public service campaigns to address community health.
For more than two decades, this former editor and journalist has utilized his media contacts to help clients gain international media attention. Emerine enjoys helping clients make a “splash” in the media or “making noise” in the industry. He also practices what he teaches as an adjunct professor for Oral Roberts University and served as a facilitator for Boston University teaching marketing, communications, and business communications courses.
